Watching Asian horror movies with the house empty while it’s getting kind of dark = perfectly sanity-friendly, non-paranoia-inducing way to spend Sunday night.
So, how do I spend my first official day of summer?
Watching documentaries from when the History Channel was actually historical.
F*ck yeah.

(… Aside from the zombie apocolypse discussions and attempts to analyze the psychology of comic book characters, I mean. But still.)
So my sister and I are home alone today.
And in the middle of the day, we see some random Hulk Hogan-ish-looking dude riding around on a lawnmower in our backyard.

I promptly locked all the doors and windows and called our dad, who didn’t believe me and figured he was just in the next yard and that I was seeing things or something.

I’ve spent the rest of the day down here with my sister, with my notebook and my laptop and my softball bat all next to me, and making sure she stays within my line of sight.

I also went around front and managed to shut the gate to our backyard with a large brick. Was thoroughly creeped out by the discovery that it was wide open.

I mean, I know I should be all like ‘Hey, free lawnmowing!’ but… I mean, if he could get into our backyard so easily just to mow it, how easily can some pedo creeper just bust right in while we’re sleeping or whatever?
A good way to remember direct vs indirect characterization:
Direct characterization: When someone goes on and on about how they’re usually the nicest person ever and how if you’re nice to them, they’ll be nice to you and etc etc etc.
Indirect characterization: When someone is nice to you.
Another Gif challenge
…Because I feel like avoiding my 365 day challenge :3
#9 in your gif folder is what your parents think you’re like.
#33 is what society thinks you’re like.
PFFT LOL I WISH
Your 5th gif with words is what your teacher/boss thinks of you.

#75 is what your friends think you are like.
This is probably accurate.
#91 is how you act alone.
Gratuitous cosplay ftw.
#2 is how you act in public.
#102 is how you think you act.
… And suddenly everything previous makes an awesome amount of sense.
#84 is how your sibling(s) see you.
#63 is what your future will be like.
…I could see this happening.
The last gif without words is who you will marry.
… I’m usually one for monogamy, though o.e
Count all your gifs and divide by 2. That number is how your life together will be.
30th gif from the end is how you’ll die.
25th with words is what will be said at your funeral.
wtf it took me dying for someone to finally say such a thing?
- Student council president guy: "Pests? What pests?"
- This heroine: "There's this blonde girl, whose name I somehow know is Amber despite not remembering her actually mentioning it at some point, and she's always hanging out with some brunette and an Asian stereotype, and I'm pretty sure she likes you, so be warned."
- Student council guy: *Facepalm* "You know you're talking about my sister, right?"
- Me: *flips table*
